Supporting care leavers into employment
We are proud to support care leavers across the region through our Care Leavers Opportunity Pathway.
The programme helps care leavers build the skills, confidence and experience they need to find work and stay in employment. Our team provides support at every stage, including:
- skills development and training
- work experience
- support to gain qualifications
- help preparing for employment
We understand that practical barriers can make it harder to take the first step. Depending on individual needs, we can also help with travel and lunch costs, suitable clothing, driving lessons and budgeting.
Alongside this practical help, participants receive regular encouragement and support from our team. This helps them raise their aspirations, believe in their abilities and move confidently into employment, often for the first time.
