We're committed to supporting our tenants and the communities in which they live.
Each year we invest in a range of projects to help our communities flourish.
Previously we’ve done that through our charity Bernicia Foundation which, over 6 years, invested over £1.4m to help charities and community organisations deliver projects across the region.

Bernicia Foundation has now closed but we’re still hard at work supporting people and communities, in line with our Community Investment Strategy.
We’ll be investing to help people live well-both in their homes and their communities.
We’re helping local organisations to tackle poverty, abuse and social isolation.
We’re helping people live independently and to take part in their neighbourhood.
We’re making communities safer and providing activities so people can build better neighbourhoods.
